FAVORITE MORNING INSPIRATIONS

In my home I have a garden corner.

Created to fulfill the absence of a yard that once was.

 I transplanted some potted plants from my prior house and added new ones.

Green plants of all sizes took over a corner by the back right window.

Once positioned carefully they seemed to grow and enjoy the much sun fed position.

A few months back they began to wilt, lose color, and leaves.

I started to worry that perhaps I wasn’t tending to them correctly.

I began cleaning pots and trimming old branches.

Hoping my attention would return them to their lush look.

Then one morning, their abundant, flourishing presence greeted me.

I stood observing the newly sprouted buds, high sturdy stems and fresh-looking leaves.

As colors peeked in between the leafy plants, a clear thought appeared.

Perhaps this was a sign for something good and lifelike that was going to happen.

I smiled and then smiled again.

An Inspirational sign that offered me moments of hope, and that is priceless.
