MORNING INSPIRATION

I sat in full listening mode, to the story of a magical superpower.

 My heart silently translating each word.

 Wanting for my soul to understand.

 Knowing that sometimes that process can take time.

 Yet within seconds, my entire being felt the warmth and comfort it so needed.

 Realizing that my understanding may be different then my dear friend’s explanation.

 But the core concept that we all own a superpower was clear.

 One that is unique to each one of us.

 A magical superpower that can change a moment and make the next one better.

 It can show a spark of light when darkness thought it would conquer.

 Slowly gifting a sliver of hope, peaking through the rooms of our soul.

 Gently caressing the spirit with a moment of healing.

 We need to listen to it, let it guide us.

 And then a sweet soul came to visit me.

 Having her close by reminded me of her magical superpower.

 Her voice, her music, like a loving motherly embrace.

 I sat to write and let my magical superpower fill my moment with a glimmer of light.
